To replace the brake pads on the rear will I need to disconect the the e-brake cable?

I got as far as removing the clip and unhooking the cable.
But I do see how it will slide out on the hole , do I hit it out or it need to be unscrewed?

Do i even need to disconnect it at all ? or just remove the two bolts and remove the caliper and leave the cable onnected?

Just remove the two bolts.

Remember, you shouldn't use a clamp to push the piston back in the rear caliper. It needs to be screwed back into the housing.

After you remove the two bolts you still don't have to remove the cable!

Nope just undid the 2 bolts .. left the cable alone.
I was following clilton's manual and it said to remove the cable.
I said to myself why? so I ask here and got the answer I wanted to hear.
