Rear bumper question

Would a rear bumper from an 84 gt fit on a 90 gt? I want to get a lx bumper and add the rear peice so I can have the tail pipes coming straight out the back and still have the GT look like in the pic.

This is the bumper I was thinking of getting.

just get the cobra bumper, its alot nicer and u have the exhaust sticking out, have u seen it??

I considered that but I like the other look better. Plus I can go ahead and get the lx bumper for cheap right now and the the pipes welded and buy the extension later. The dumps are too loud for me!
