Bumper covers (fascia) that are unsupported distort at speed. The flapping up front and acting like a flapping parachute in the back affect your top speed and acceleration. So if you take off the steel to make a race car, you still need something to support the cover.

Because you listed your age at 20. So either you have 4 years MAX of legal driving experience OR you are not truthful when you post. Either way anyone that removes bumpers on a "road race" car that "hits the track every day" is out of his mind.

uh race cars have bumpers, rally cars have bumpers, old geezer cars have bumpers, that video is what was happening in real life on the street from rear-end collisions.

from your other post if you race every day you still havent LEARNED your car and how to leverage what you have.

your current path has the high potential of removing you from the gene pool..

Nick,

The scary thing is he's local to me. Oh to be 20 years old and think you know everything. I never understood why people come to a board for help, and then when they don't like what they hear, start bashing the same people offering help.

Oh, the new waffle taco is awesome.

The rear bumper has two metal brackets under it that attach the the bottom of the bumper cover. That's what keeps the bumper cover from flapping around like your Vag in the wind.

@MikeH686 The Forza I have has a 93 Cobra Mustang. My 5 y/o races it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
