I'm having an issue with my rear defroster, it doesn't work. I have a bulb tool and when i ground it and touch the defroster tab on the passenger side it lights up green but when i touch any of the grids nothing happens. Has anyone dealt with this issue or know how to fix it?
Mine doesn't work either. I don't have an issue with it. The window is tinted very darky so it isn't much good to look through. That's what two outside mirrors are for.
Look through the window towards a bright sky. If the defroster grid lines are broken, you can see where. There is a metallic paint that conducts to repair the grids.
If it gets power, that’s great. Have you checked if the other side is still grounded?
