Ok so for the past few days i noticed my rear defroster hasn't been working at all. I push the button, light comes on and nothing. Checked the fuse, it's good. Then yesterday i thought, hey maybe i should look at the connections to the lines on the window and what do ya know the drivers side one fell off. The little metal piece became "unglued" so to speak from the window so it was just hanging off. Anybody know what i can put back on it to "glue " it back on the window?

Its not glued, it was a solid piece of copper. You would need to soldier it back on I would think? If you have tint the soldier gun will screw it up.

How are you supposed to solder the metal tab to the window? The metal tab/connection are fine, it just fell off the window due to age i guess. Couldn't you just epoxy it back on or something?

Oh, you meen the plug came off the tab? If so you can use a small flat head screw driver to close the spade terminal a little so it fits snug over the connection again.

Sorry for the confusion :D

No you're still confused...

Nope, I was right the first time. That was never glued together it was soldiered. Easy to fix and soldier irons are cheep. just hold it in place with needle nose pliers and soldier on the edges. :nice:
