Rear discs

I currently have the SVO rear end on the car now. I picked up an 8.8 5.0 rear for 50 bucks. Will my SVO axles and rear discs fit onto the 8.8 rear? I went to the brake website I found from here and they said that the SVO axles are 1.25 inches wider than 87-93 axles. Will this width affect anything or will I have to get ranger axles and if I do that, will my rear discs still fit?

OK thats what I wanted to know. A while ago, part of that big pin that slides in and holds everything together broke off and chipped part of the ring gear. It works fine but I wanted the bigger one that looks mechanically better than the 7.5. I also am putting duals on the car and I needed to move the brake line from the axle housing to where the GT's and later SVO have it.

Once again, I was looking on that brake upgrade site and I was wondering if I should grab the rear disc set up off of a 96 V6 at the junkyard. Would I be able to use that set up on a fox style 8.8? Or maybe the four cyl. 7.5? if I use the rear disc set up, will I have to used the V6 master cyl. and e-brake cables?

with the 94+ stuff u will need some sort of master cylnder set up for disk brakes and u will need the 94+ parking brake cables and 79-98 mustang housings are all the same length u will need the short or long axle depending on which brake setup u have factory all disk had long axles and drum had short axles hope this clears some things up:)

Thanks. I went and picked up the calipers and brackets and stuff. I need to go back and get the axles out but the way they set the car down is holding the driveshaft, so I cant turn it to try to get the axles. It was 50 bucks for the calipers and brackets. 15 a peice for axles.
