It's not a hard job to do but setting up the gears in the rear takes skill> if you have never set up how the gears mesh together / you should take it to a shop that know how to > it would suck to pay to do the same job twice .

I had 4.10's in there when it blew. I want to go to 4.30's
I'm looking for a built 9 or 8.8 the problem is a 9 might not match right
with the driveshaft I have.
I need a built 8.8 looking for a recommendation really,
hard to trust some ppl, I called up some place in MMFF and
the guys tried to sell me a line that "prices have gone up, etc"
why not pull the cover off and take a look in there see what went wrong? might not need a complete rebuild. however, while your in there, might as well upgrade axles diff etc. don't see the need for a 9 inch, but its your car. oh and it could just be an axle.
