rear-end build

ok guys i need to build up the rear of my car so i dont brake anything

i do have 31-spline axles for the rear

but do i need a limited slip differencal ?


also any one have any experince with spec stg3 clutch

the clutch i have is just not holding the power

and last question how well does the t-45 tranny hold-up ?

You've already got one in the Traction Lok. It's not a great LSD for high power though.

Depends. It's not rated for the sort of power/torque quoted in your sig. If you get traction and put a ton of torque through it then it may break. If you have a "safety valve" in the form of being traction-limited it may survive a long time.

400+hp that tranny will granade, you need to upgrade to tremec or equavilant. guy i run round with has 800hp at the wheels with the trac lok and 31spline axles. that trac-lok holds very well.

ok going with the ford racing 8.8in 31spline traction-lok limited slip differential
with carbon discs for $255 from american muscle and the 31-spline axles i have that should shold down my rear..
