I need to change the fluid in my rear diff. I have everything I need as far as fluids, but I need to know where I can get a gasket for the diff cover. I am sure this is something I can go right to Ford for, but I have an autozone right with in 2 miles of my house..alot closer than Ford.

Thanks in advanced

You can get a reusable gasket but, there is nothing but RTV sealant in there from the factory, no gasket.

Use black permatex instead. A lot of people have problems with leaking if they use a paper gasket. I just used permatex with no leaks at all.

Ok thanks for your help, i need to get RTV anyways to stick the shifter back on so ill just get a big bottle of it.

I figure why not change all the fluids at the same time
