rear end/five lug question

i did some searches and im pretty sure i found what i was looking for but just for clarification purposes i wanted to ask anyway. my plan was to buy a complete rear end out of a 94-95 mustang and rebuild it with 3.73's i have sitting in my garage and then just swap in the whole rear end to use with the five lug conversion. will this work? or did i miss something?

The rear end is 3/4" wider on each side, but it will bolt up. To use the rear disc brakes, you will need to do some work. See http://www.svo73mm.cjb.net/ for all the information you will need. Some of the things needed will be a new master cylinder, new brake proportioning valve and 3 port to 2 port Master cylinder conversion. Check out the site for details.

well im already running the svo/mk7 five lug all wheel disk conversion. will the proportioning valve and master cylinder work from that set up or do i need new stuff? im still piecing together my five lug swap im just wanting to put my rear end in at the same time. to keep the same track width and run a 9in wheel in the rear would it be easier to build a rear from a reg fox body 8.8housing and just buy five lug axles and then buy the rear brake set up seperately?

If you are running 4 wheel disk brakes and they are working good, you don't need to to any brake rework for the M/C and proportioning valve.
