gears

Make sure your buddy knows you have the IRS not the standard solid axle. Doing gears in your car will take longer and be more work than a standard Mustang.

Since you have the heavy vert I would go 4.30 or if you want 4.10s at the very least. Doing 3.73s on a 4V would not be worth it, our cars have piss poor low end torque and need more gear than the 2V guys do.

I strongly recommend getting this: http://www.billetflow.com/irs_brace.htm at the same time since you will have to have the cover off anyway to do the gears. I have one on my car and it's cheap insurance as well as a very well made product.

If you want to go with 4.30's, I've got a set with only about 1000 miles on them that I'd take $100. plus shipping for. I put them in my 03 cobra but with them, traction was non-existant. With my 6spd, I could run 80 at only 2850 RPM. Let me know if you're interested.

4.30's don't waste your time with the 4.10's.
