my rear end wines when i turn left, and sometimes straight, it has been getting louder over teh last couple of weeks, and yesterday i took along trip, and when i took a sharp left turn going slow, it made a metal-to-metal squeal, now, i hav eteh rear-end apart now, and i am replacing the trac-loc, and was wondering what could have caused that,...everything looks good i think. Also, teher seemed to be a foam sorta in there, could teh auto-zone friction modifer i put in could have caused me these problems? anyhow, anyone who knows anything would be great thanks

The gear whine is caused from an improper pattern. Whoever set up your 3.73's did a lousy job. You have two choices - pay someone to do it again, or do it yourself. If your going to do it yourself, your going to need an inch pound wrench and a new crush collar.

I had the same problem. Turned out to be an axel bearing.
