what kind of rear end gear lube do i use on my 65 coupe with factory 8" and gears

Just your everyday ordinary 85w-90 to 140 gear lube. Add Ford's friction modifier if you've got a clutch type posi in it.

I agree.............with gas prices going up by the minute, anything that would reduce friction and help gas milage would be the product to use.

im in phoenix az for the next year or so(for school) and its gonna be hella hot...should i run i thicker oil to help with the heat?

i dont have posi in my car so i probably dont need the friction modifier

there are different ratings right? like RL, CL or something like that?

something like 85W-140 is what you'd want for that kinda heat.
