I really want to change out the old 2.73's, but dont have the tools or experience to change out the ring and pinion. so, the only alternative i see is to swap the whole rear end with one that has the gears I want. what cars will have this rear end without doing too much modification besides other 94-95 mustangs. I saw a thunderbird coupe rear end with 3.73's on the local craigslist here for $300. it didn't say what year though. any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

fox body mustangs from '86+ (maybe '85) have the same rearend housing, just different brakes and axle lengths due to the abs sensor rings. So if you can find someone selling one of those with gears all you'd have to do is swap out your axles and brakes and it will bolt right up.
