It's finally here! My new used rear end for my 07 convertible gt. Biggest thing I've learned, it's way easier to swap s197's rear end than an sn95! Also read the fricken diff tag before ordering another one. I messed up and assumed my convertible had 3.27's, turns on it has 3.55. If you're wondering if it'll fit... nope, it won't. 3.27 rear end has a shorter front yoke, won't reach the drive shaft. If you're wondering why I didn't swap yokes was because they don't fit, 3.55 has more splines and I can't use my original pinion due to its broken into many pieces. So getting a 3.55 out of a convertible, same year and around same mileage. Just a teaser for tonight with some pics and how to not fudge it like I did. This Saturday will be attempt number 2
