Tell me more abou this coil over conversion. Who makes them? Is anyone actually running a 10.5 wheel with one? What kind of backspacing do you need on a wheel that size, and who makes them?
Ive been looking at the '05 and '06 GT's, I recently sold my '02 Camaro SS with some slight modifications that included 17 x 10 inch wheels. The fatest tire I could shoehorne in there was a 315 and it still wouldnt hook up properly (best 1/4 was 12.9 at 108, but never could get the 60' under 1.9).
Before you ask about the screen name, my car before that was a '93 cobra.
The main concern I have about the stang is the puny stock rear tires / wheels. I've looked under the wheelwell and it doesn't look like there is a lot of room to expand, but if anyone has done it. . . please post here!
I'm not really interested in "20's" here. I would much rather have a 15" wheel with a large sidewall (we are talking about a rear wheel drive vehicle that is capable of making some serious horsepowere here). What is the minimum diameter that will fit over the stock brakes without grinding to much? I can handle taking a little off, but I dont want to get crazy.

That rear end is absolutely sick for a street/strip driver. This is exactly what I plan to do, but with a supercharger rather than the remote turbo's
