Rear End Vent?

Hey guys/gals!

Recently My car has been leaking some Rear End fluid. I checked the diff. cover and its fine. When I pulled out the filler plug to the rear end, it released a build up of air pressure. So my friend mentions that it might be a clogged Rear end Vent and its blowing the fluid through the pinion seal ! Is there a vent on or diffs? and if so how do you clean it? Do you all have any suggestions or tips?

its on the top of the passenger side axle tube

edit: it can get clogged with mud or dirt, just brush it off if that happens to be the problem

your pinion seal might be bad too, dunno. Mine was and lost fluid fast, also covered the whole bottom of the car with filth from the fluid.
