I recently had my local dealership replace the fuel pump on my 06 GT for the hesitation tsb and ever since I have had it back, it has a pretty severe vibration between 25-30. The vibration isn't there at lower or higher speeds (as far as I can tell) and wasn't there before I had it in the shop. It is not engine related because it does it at both coast and under power. Does anyone have any clue what they might have done to it to have caused this problem.

Thanks in advance!!!
Steve

Check the wheel lugs are tight. Other than that, see if they've removed the panhard bar and not done it up or something like that. Is the exhaust tight - the hanger bolts can be hard to get to with the stock mufflers.

There is a TSB for a rear axle problem. TSB 0520-2 calls for replacment of the ring and pinion.
I had an axle noise and the service writer told me about the TSB. My 06 GT is in their shop as of today, 9-25-06 to have the ring and pinion replaced.
The reason for the TSB is because Dana screwed up on the machining process.

They fixed it

Not sure what they had done when they worked on it, but they said they had to "re index" my driveshaft and now all vibration is gone. They screwed something up when they switched out the fuel pump...problem is that there is no correlation at all between the fuel system and drive shaft........weird.

Don't they have to drop the driveshaft to remove the fuel tank?
