Rear Endz

I was just trying to start a thread about, perhaps areas of tech that many of us are here for.
We obviously need help sometimes but sometimes it is fun to explore our goals of our future car. Our dreams of what the "next level" will be like. OUR DREAM CAR.

I wanted something different and didnt want an arguement of what is better SC NOS or Turbos but something more.
Hense rear endz and strong blocks.

Yoru question is vague. The rear end does nothing for handling. It's just a solid peice of metal suspended from the vehicle that transfers power from the trans to the wheels.

If you want to discuss how to make a solid axle equipped vehicle handle, they you should really be asking about control arms, panhard bars, 5-links, springs, coil-overs and other suspension upgrades.

9 inchers can be built to be tough as hell, but I've heard they are really inefficient at power transmission. In other words, the drivetrain power loss is more through a 9 inch than it is a 8.8. Its not like you can't build a 8.8 to handle gobs of power anway.

there is really no reason to build a nine inch these days, the 8.8 was designed for the fox body and with very little work(31 spline axles, Auburn/Eaton) will handle 700-800 HP all day like a champ.

you guys are right. I am sorry.
I was talking about suspension in the rear.
Right now I am running full steeda 5th. Anniversary stuff control arms ect. I got out of Mustang stuff a few years ago but I am back....
Recently I put a Hellion 67 mm Turbo on in place of a Procharger and a DFI gen 7 system in and noticed my rear end feeling a little torqued or twicked similar to the new Mustangs if you know what I mean. I do have a roll cage but only a 4 point right now. I think if it were 6 or 8 point I wouldnt feel it twist slightly but was wondering about other mods in my REAR END.
