I am going to be changing my gear ratio and got few questions. I have an 89 gt the rear end and gears are stock(im pretty sure) I would really like to boost my acceleration. I was thinking of getting 3:73's just cuase thats what most people have but past few days ive been thinking of going to the 4:10. its not a daily driver I just want more oomph without digging deep into the motor. I have 16in rims. will my speedo get changed when i change to either size. by changing the gears will it have any effect to other performance parts i have installed? i read on the isky website there cams are designed for certain rear gears. do i need to look into this? other than the ring and pinions what all do i need to buy? what gears would you put on your pony if your town was all stop light to stop light?
