I am going to buy a 347 stroker kit, maybe this one: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SCA%2D1%2D94165&autoview=sku

and I see that it is for a 2 piece rear main seal. The block I have has a one piece rear main seal. Should I look for a kit that is for the one piece style or will I be alright just getting a 2 piece main seal for it? Will the 2 piece fit a block made for a one piece? Sorry this is kind of confusing.

Any other suggestions or insight on any good places to buy from?

Thanks.

Look into an Eagle assembly. I used theirs and I have a 1 piece rear main. They make a very comparable kit to the link you gave.

You need a 1 piece seal.

I would look around, do a google search and check out Ebay even.

For $100 more on Ebay they have kits with forged cranks and H-beam rods. The Summit kit is a cast crank and I beam rods.

I would get dished pistons also and get the compression down if your running it on pump gas or ever plan to run any form of boost. This is also a good reason to get a better crank and rods now. Not sure what Probe charges but they have kits like the one from summit or the next step up, but you get a choice of compression ratios.
