I have a built 351 with 11:1 compression. Any way the engine has about 2k on it . Now i have a leak between my TKO 600 bell housing and the 7 quart moroso oil pan. There is not enough room for me to see. The rear main is a 2 piece. It is either that or the oil pan. I am not going to do it, a mech. will be, i do not feel like fooling with it, it is very tight under there with the 3in exhaust. Who makes the best and strongest rear main seal?

Thanks

You need to be 100% certain that, that is where it's coming from before you pay to have it redone. It could very EASILY be an oil leak coming from the rear of the lower intake or even the small slots between the heads and block deck (both of which are much easier to get to than the rear main).

I say this because it can be VERY difficult to detect the kinds of leaks I've mentioned above and they will look JUST LIKE a rear main leak.

As far as seals go... Just get a quality seal. You can't go wrong with either a NAPA or OEM Ford seal.

Thanks. It is a carbed car. The engine bay has been smoothed and painted. No ac or heat.Man Brakes with lines run inside fenders. There is alot of room in engine bay, I can see the back of the heads and back of the intake fine. It is dry as can be. So i am pretty sure the car is leaking where where i said.

Thanks
