Brakes Rear Pads Tight

Replacing the rear rotors, guides and the pads on my 01 gt, the new pads are extremely tight in the guides and do not want to slide freely like the front, is this normal? How tight are they supposed to be? Thanks for any advise.

Have you tried cleaning the caliper and anchor with a wire brush? I use anti sieze on the brake pads ( not on the friction material. That would be stupid). Just lube it up and you should be fine. Be sure to use a special tool to compress/ wind in the piston
