Rear Seat Delete update pic...almost finished

almost done, just gotta work in the stereo system for which i have a pretty good plan...the white you see around the edges is just chalk i used to mark the contours, etc for cutting the carpet...looks decent i think

it would look better if you took the seat belts out.

What kind of carpeting is that and where did you get it?

Me and a buddy have been looking for stuff to make our deletes .

Thats like trunk carpet, or speakerbox carpet, Lowes and Home Depot sell it.

Well cant you see its rear seat delete carpet? You can buy it at any rear seat delete outlet.

yea yea yea i know the seat belts have to go but i would have had to go inside the panel to take them out and then have the openings just kinda there looking ugly

the carpet comes in rolls at wal-mart in the automotive section near the floor mats, etc. orange label that says "REPLACEMENT CARPET" its pretty nice stuff. used 2 rolls, about $8 each. 36"x72". one wal mart i went to didnt have it, but the super wal mart did.

Looks freakin' awesome. Did you use an adhesive for the carpet or did it have a backing?

thanks for all the kind words guys, the carpet does not have backing but i used staples at the very edges to keep it in place while using some of that liquid nails adhesive...gotta spread it out tho to keep the globs away...contact cement applied with a brush would probably worked better but i took my time and it came out pretty good...

Looks good. Trust me pulling the rear belts is a pain in the A$$. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and do it some other time

Just cut the belts off. You dont need em anyhow.
