For your information, I'm still using the 7.5 rearend.

I just bought some KYB AGX's for my rally car. I was about to install them and I noticed that the mounting hole/bushings looked a bit funny.

Anyone run into this yet? The shocks came with some rubber bits, but do I have to use my old bushings?

I had the same problem with my KYBs. I think its due the the bracket that mounts the shock to the rear on the 8.8 but the 7.5 does not have one. I was going to try and find a 8.8 to pull some of the brackets from. Im still not sure about the bushings.

Yeah I'd say the AGX's are made to mount to an 8.8-style brackets.

I'd recommend just finding some of the brackets from the 8.8 and putting them on your car, makes shock changes a hell of a lot easier anyway. I was able to find some for my old '90 so you oughta be able to locate some as well.
