rear stuts.

anyone got an idea of what kind of rear struts i should put in my 81, the thing feels like its going to do a back flip every time i hit the gas. Also springs? i want the rear to sit up about 2 inches higher than it does now. Help?

The rear has shocks, not struts...and they don't control ride height. You'll need to change springs or install adjustable control arms for that.

Just buy some cheap replacements for the rear. I got Monroes for like 30-40 dollars for the pair.

5L5 is right about the height. You will need to spend some good money on a set of adjustable control arms. Maximum Motorsports and Steeda make "weight jacker" control arms. Get the pocket book out...they are about 400 dollars for a pair.
