I have never installed a rear sway bar, but i was recently reading all the post on installing an addco unit on my '68. Some people reported that their frame bushing "u"-bolt ripped through the frame rail. I was wondering if it was possible to drill through the frame rail and into the trunk? Then replace the "u"-bolt with longer straight bolts and either big washers or a thick piece of steel driiled out for the bolts. Is it possible to put spacers inside the frame rails for additional support? Would this actually be stronger or not?
