Rear transfer possibilities

arent there other vehicles like trucks and explorers that came with 8.8's

is it possible to swith one of those rears into my 95 stang? or are all the brackets and mounting points different and its not worth the hassle

The internal parts will interchange but the axle housings have different spring, control arm & shock mounts. The axle mount method common to Mustangs, T-Birds, Fairmonts, Lincoln MK VII's & Cougars is part of what makes them fox body cars.

so that would mean buying an 93 or older mustang rear for a 95 mustang would be worthless right?

The older stangs have the same width rear axle all the way up to 98. You would obviously have to transfer your brakes and axles.
