Find a coupe trunk lid and swap it. Less body work. You'll need to transfer the 3rd brake light.

No spoilers. That's so 1990's

The only aftermarket wing that's worth having in my humble opinion:

Steeda Mustang Rear Aero Spoiler (1979-1993)

Steeda's trademark 307-0002 rear spoiler is the best blend of functional aerodynamics and distinctive styling. This unique spoiler extends the rear airfoil by several inches to trap high pressure air over the rear decklid, increasing stability and control.
www.steeda.com

Don't think it'll fit your vert tho.

You have a nice rear end there Dave.

I put a coupe trunk lid on one of mine. No third brake light. That would ruin the look.

You could look into something like this:

79-93 Mustang Coupe/Convertible Ducktail Spoiler (Welded Version) | Cerbinator

Made of steel these spoilers are the perfect final touch to your fox body! These spoilers have two installation methods, bolt-on or a seamless epoxy method. Each spoiler comes with 1/4" weld nuts and button head bolts and comes in bare metal. This version features a 1 inch welds across the seam...
www.cerbinatorautodesigns.com

Nice, but a little spendy. Not sure what to do about the 3rd brake light.

Or there is the 92-93 special edition style wing (the cervini is similar):

79-93 Mustang Coupe/Convertible Cervini Spoiler

www.cervinis.com

Or just do what was mentioned above: Get a plain coupe trunk lid and swap them out. That is how I got rid of the hideous luggage rack my coupe had on it.

Maybe I am looking at it all wrong - the luggage rack is straight from the 90s ! Like the faux wood sides on the 80s -

Luggage rack started in early 80s though. It was even available on some coupes (although rare)

I like this one too. Understated.
I would like the duck tail one if it was shorter.
I will say that I do like the luggage rack though.

Here's mine. I really like it because it's subtle and not too much. I painted it trim black so it looks like an enhanced more aggressive version of the original luggage rack spoiler. Its' from LMR. https://lmr.com/item/LRS-44210E/1983-93-Mustang-Coupe-Convertible-Rear-Spoiler.
