Honest opinion guys, what do you guys think of the abs (plastic) rear window louvers, I do like the aluminum ones but they are too damn expensive so those are a no no for me. The abs look pretty good on pictures but don't know how they would look in person, any thoughts.

The plastic ones look okay to me! Plus, one poorly-thrown baseball would probably dent the aluminum ones. (Or some punk vandal.)

He is asking about the back window louver.
To me they are too bulky and restrict your vision. Now if you lived
in AZ or the like, they would be quite functional to block out the sun.

Plastic can warp from shipping, sun,etc... making it impossible to keep them om, let alone looking good. If your car is garaged, they might hold up o.k.

Yes my car is garaged, there is only one way to find out if I like them by buying them I suppose. Nobody has them installed out there? Need more feedback.

I have seen both - I went with the aluminum. Much cleaner look and lines (IMO)- they realy don't block your rear vision at all (no more than the rear defog) where the plastic ones are bulkier and do block your rear vision more than the aluminum.

My bad, sorry about that. I have no advice/opinion regarding the "rear" louvers, as I have not seen either the plastic or aluminum on a Mustang.

I went with the aluminum ones cause didn't like the looks of the plastic. AM had a sale on them a few months ago and I saved around $120. Keep looking around and you may come across them on sale somewhere. GL
