rearend shot.. need new one

my rearend is shot on my 97 vert .. thinking abought an eaton posi .. what do you guys think? is there better out there. ?? detroit locker maybe??

What is wrong with the rear end to say it is shot? If you get the one wheel peel, the t-lock can be rebuilt with new clutch packs. I my opinion if you are going to change out the carrier with eaton, then might as well get 31 spline axles & carrier, good time to upgrade. FRPP has a 31 spline t-lock carriers also. Eaton is a good carrier. A locker on the street can be noisy, not good in the rain.
Also depending on mileage, good time to change the bearings while you are in there.

I have the Eaton....been working great so far. Also have 31 spline mosier axles.

The Detroit Locker is some serious stuff...not very street friendly on a daily driver.

well im getting the dreaded one wheel peal...yeah a locker isnt very good for the street , so i was thinking of an eaton .. maybe i should just have it rebuilt util i get real serious.. if i do go with the eaton im going to change the axels .. maybe next year
