Rebuild or Swap

Hello guys,
Well here is my situation...

My stang has 133K miles. It runs very good for being a NPI car and an auto.

Below are the mods in my sig.
I have rebuilt the tranny with better than stock parts, but now I am debating of what to do with the engine.

I am in not too much of a hurry so I have some time to save some money.
The only reason this issue came up was because I noticed that my car emits a small amount of blue smoke from time to time and it consumes a more than a quart between oil changes (burning the oil)

So...it will soon be time to rebuild or replace! This is where I need everyones help.

Should I rebuild? With what parts? Better internals, Port Polish heads/ Swap for PI heads etc...
What recommended parts do I use?

Buy a used/ semi-new 99-03 engine. What engine and from where?

What would be better for my daily driver. Don't see track too much.

I have seen alot of low mileage 99 and newer complete engines going for 900 to 1500 bucks , thats what i would do .

Wow, thats just about the cost of a PI head swap, sounds like a great option.

This is what I have been leaning on, just wanted to hear my options.
If I do go with a 99+ engine swap where can I get the best deal on one?

Also, what is needed to do the swap? Is there any extra parts you have to buy.

I know that the fuel system will bolt right up, right?
And that the coil packs will also bolt up, right?

Anything else I should plan ahead for, or will it bolt right up?
To the AODE tranny, any issues?

call every junk you can find in the yellow pages and look look look , you can find the deals but they dont come to you thats for sure
