I'm in the process of rebuilding my 2.3turbo, the head will be done soon, I'm looking at some of the other stuff...
I would like to disassemble the distributor clean it up and rebuild it. I'm use to older Magnetic Trigger types with vacuum advance, but the 2.3turbo has a TFI type. I know the TFI Module is available, but are the internal electronic parts available? There is an engineering # on the guts (6A112 basic) so I am going to try the dealer, but you know that route...they'll probably only have a P/N# for a complete distributor!
Are there aftermarket suppliers for that stuff, possibly who assembled the units for Ford, like Bosch?
