My t-5 is grinding in third and almost grinding in 4th. It has 82k miles on it and im thinking im gonna try and rebuild it during the winter if its not very hard. How hard of a job would it be say on a scale on 1-10 10 being the hardest? I would have some time and probably get that video to help me out. Also are there any special tools that are needed? Any other input wold help also.

I did a Tremec 3550 rebuild, and it wasn't that difficult. The video was an immense help, and I would recommend viewing it. At $20, it will give you an opportunity to look and decide for yourself if you think that it is something you want to try to do.
