Received cat-back and x-pipe today, need advice

You don't have to bypass it but it will just pump out into nothing. And it will sound kinda funny in your engine bay. I would just remove it completly and by a shorter belt. Woo Hoo another 5 HP! and less weight!

Is the noise very noticeable? Is it only with the hood up? I really don't want to mess with it right now, considering I got u/d pulleys, but if the noise will be heard by from other people, and it will sound like crap, it will come off.

It's not really that loud. You can hear it with the hood up but usually not down. Also depends on how loud you car is. If you don't want to mess with it right now just do it later!

Thanks for advice 89sleeper. So should I even block off the AIR tube? Or will it be fine unblocked? Or could I just pull the air tube off?

I have a jet hot coated vrs x pipe with bbk long tubes and mac catback and the thing fit like a glove. You can hear the flow from the exhaust and the power is incredible! Definetly recomend it ...

89sleeper told me to like take the front of a cat or something and tack it on, if they look under do u think it could fool them? like if they asked me if i had cats an di said yes and he checked do u think he would believe it??? id really like to go offroad

if your car is lowered, how would they see under it. also if you ever get pulled over, make sure you turn your car off, and not drive off till the cop does... i always push the clutch in when passing cops just so it drops the rpm and keeps things quiet.
