Recommendation for Shocks/Struts

All, I have a high milage car that should probably have its shocks and struts replaced.

I want to get a set that will give a decent ride as well as handling.

For the most part, my car is stock. 86 GT convertible

What would be good shocks to put on it?

I'm going to probably get the KYB set. they're cheaper and I am not racing or on the track so that's why. I also am going to change to the B springs as well.

I just switched from KYB's and B springs to Coilovers and Billsteins. Rides much better now.

Same here, they're awesome. Brand new KYBs might be better than the old stock stuff, but some Bilsten heavy dutys will make the KYBs seem like old stock stuff.
