Recommended Tire Pressure ?

I'm about to take the Stang on a 400 mile road trip to medical school. I put on new wheels/tires about a month ago (changed from stock 16"s to 18"s), my question is, does the recommended tire pressure change since I've gone to shorter sidewalls (265/35-18s)? If so, can anyone tell me what it should be, or how I could calculate it?

Normally you can run lower pressure with the thinner sidewalls, but I just run 32 front and 30 rear.

I have stock 17inch wheels and the tires say max 51 psi. Should I be running 51psi or something else?

Something else. Like you said, 51 is the MAX pressure. You would inflate them to 51 if the tire was FULLY loaded, which is like 1500 lbs on each tire. Since you roughly only have 900lbs on each tire 30-32 psi is suggested.
