Might want to consider buying a Predator or SCT instead. Costs a bit more but does a whole lot more.
Umm, i wouldnt consider the difference between a $90(With Stangnet discount from MT) Speedcal and a $340 SCT to be a very minimal. But then again, if you have the money do it.

yeah with the xcal 2 you can also adjust the speedo for larger tires, extend the rev limiter, remove the ecl light if u have o/r pipes, and a bunch of other cool stuff...nice investment for future modding really

my future modding would be cams/headers, and id need a chip/dyno tune for that, which is why i really dont wanna get a flasher

Here is my experience for the 2 guys who want to go with the Dallas Speed cal. Dont do it. Seriously .I thought i'd save some $$ . so i ordered the speedcal. Everything went great..instal..etc. The thing was not acurate. I almost burned my car lol . I had to always switch the little switches where you control the ratio inside the speedcal , and measure my speed with other cars :bang: well yah i guess mine was a piece of crap , doesnt mean every speedcal will suck like mine. But bottom line , just save a bit more and get the Xcal2 its $399 but you can do sooo much more with it.And trust me when i say this...you will need a flash tuner somewhere along the way , it makes things better:)

Note: because i was cheap instead of just paying $399 from the start. I payed $99 (speed cal) + $399 (Xcal) :bang: :bang: Idiot idiot lol
whatever you do , good luck with it

I have a 97GT... the hand tuners are not able to change the gears and I'd be required to get a speed-cal to make it right. I've heard Dallas Speed Cal and Brothers Speed cal... same product different sticker?
