red 90 stang--clearcoat??

your car SHOULD have a clear coat on it. If its the original paint it most likely has worn off, if your getting the paint color coming off on the applicator. WHat i would do in your position is if the pait is in decent condition, id have someone shoot a few layers of clear on the car.

Fixing to buy wax, and was wondering if a 90 model mustang would have a clear coat. I seriously don't believe it does, due to the amount of red (cars red) that is on the applicator pad. The fade isn't as bad to need a repaint, but doesn't shine like my neighbors blue gt. Just wondering, might order some Zaino for regular paint, clearcoat polish does good but I might try this regular if it's regular paint. Thanks guys!
