Redline Line Water Wetter

I'm not having any type of cooling problems but I'm just wondering if anyone on here uses the Water Wetter product. Thinking of maybe adding it to my cooling system but I'm not sure it's worth trying. Any real benefits? Any negative effects?

Yes, I use it. I do not know if it has any major effect. I just add it when I flush and fill the cooling system... It says on the bottle that it prevents the formation of bubbles and prevents cavitation in the cooling system. I think it is a good idea to use it

I've heard it reduces the life of the coolant significently by making it more acidic quicker.

I use it. I can't notice a difference, but it is peace of mind. Coolant tests ok and looks fine.

Flush your coolant and fill it up with prediluted 50/50 and a bottle of water wetter, should bring your temps down at least 5 degrees. This stuff works.

I live in a warm climate and it rarely gets below 20 degrees. I drained a gallon of coolant from my truck and refilled with distilled water and water wetter. The coolant was still good to -15 degrees. I have noticed a big decrease in temps on the gauge also.

Water Wetter states on the bottle or was it the web site, it will cool even better with less than 50/50 coolant mix.

Water cools better than coolant, but has a lower boiling point. I'd stick with the recommended 50/50 and water wetter.

I've used Water Wetter in all of my Mustang's, but I can't say I noticed a significant reduction in temp. I'd like to believe it helps some, but better cooling system mod are obvious: larger radiator, lower the fan turn-on temps, cooler t-stat, etc.

i run straight water and redline water wetter in all my toys.. in cali it never gets that cold.. and yes it does help on a race only car as well as a street car

I just started running 80/20 mix with water wetter, and its TONS cooler. I also put a fluidyne at the same time too, so thats probably most of the reason, but alot of guys that road race swear by it.
