refinish billet polished aluminum

I sanded out deep scratches and used fine sanding/polishing papers to smoothen surface. Now I have to restore mirrow appearance. I can't remove item from engine area.What is a good polishing agent. I will try by hand,but prefer to use small buffing wheel(on drill/driver)if possible.Thanks, Frank
