reichard racing s/c pulley=crap PLEASE READ

well...i installed my focus pump this morining then my rr 3" pulley in hopes i would have a little more of an exciting ride. After installation, i drove about a mile from my house and slap asdjf slap fsdjfkdsj...(belt shred) . i drove back home, poped my hood and sure enough my belt is now a 3 rib instead of 6 rib belt. Looking at my r.r. pulley i notice it sticks out about an 1/8 inch further then my alternator pulley (i took pictures but havent uploaded them yet)...lets just say im very dissapointed in my waste of $150 for the pulley, $100 for the focus pump and my time installing it all:bang:

they have to be on a website, use the url of the pic inbetween

you would be the first complaint I've ever heard about an RR product, however im sure if you brought it to their attention they will remedy the problem

apparently there is another member with a saleen on here with the same problem i have with the same pulley

I was originally looking at a RR pulley, but then there were three reasons why I went with the Chicane (based on experiences of others)...made more boost, cheaper, and aligned properly. Sorry to hear, though. I hope RR comes through and gets you a replacement pulley.

However, I also heard Chicane contracts out their pulleys through RR...but only the Extreme pulleys??? Not sure on that...would have to check with Chicane and RR.

i called jim reichard today and told him my problem, he questioned whether or not i had to series 4 of 5 and i told him i am 100% sure i have the 4 seeing as how i do not have the extreme and it's a 2003. He is sending me a series 5 pulley anyway to see if it will line up better....i dont know if that makes much sense but i dont really know what is going on here, i think he may have switched the s4 and 5 pulleys up or something....w/e...pulley will be here tomorrow so i'll see how it goes...
