Release bearing???

My car has made this squacking noise twice since the weather has gotten colder. Tends to go away after you drive for about 15-20 minutes. Well this morning it was getting loud, @ 1st it didnt seem to make a difference if I had the clutch pressed or not, but when I would start moving around 10-15MPH it would make that noise. Almost like a sick bird with a very deep chirp or plastic rubbing on plastic???? Well toward the end of the warming cycle I could get the noise to change when I would barley push the clutch pedal. Does this sound like a release bearing to yall. Hope it doesn't do any futher damage because I dont have the funds for it now.:bang:

Yep. They chirp when they don't have enough grease ont the right spots. Don't know if it means that it's totally bad, but basically some grease isn't making it to the right spots until it warms up.

that part is cheap and pulling the tranny is cake work. just need some jackstands and some hand tools. the hardest part is getting the driveshaft bolts out of the rear end if you dont have an impact gun

Lucky for me I have the luxury of working @ a 18 bay shop. Just dont have the funds to pay a tech to do it. Im wanna those salesman ppl. I can sell the job with ease. I guess its time to get my hands dirty and attempt it myself.
