Relocate IAT (ACT)??? KB Owners in here Please!

My IAT is still located in the stock location (In the CAI) I need to relocate it after my KB. I know that fox style intakes have a hole in the lower intake for the IAT, but mine does not. Any suggestions on where I can place it. Thanks and God Bless! Andrew

The fox style manifolds put the AirChargeTemp sensor in the #5 runner of the lower intake manifold. You could drill and tap a hole there for the IAT.

If I had a KB though I think I would drill and tap a hole somewhere in the part of the KB that bolts onto the lower intake after the twinscrew.

Does it have to be the #5 runner, the intake i have sitting in the garage right now has it tapped out in the #4 runner, would that be ok?

Im assuming it doesnt really make a difference but wanna make sure.

I'd like to see a picture of that intake you have with the #4 tapped.

Any runner is better than before the blower. I've also seen someone who has actually drilled and tapped the KB discharge manifold. That would work too.

I have found a place on the KB I am going to drill and tap out. They already had holes with plugs. I'm just going to have to make it a little bigger i guess.
