Here's something you don't see everyday- WLDHRSE did a bit of a Capri conversion on his '93 GT. This is the only pic I could find.

I believe the bubble hatch came in '83, which made the Capri look skinny. The years before that actually looked wider than any Mustang of those years (79-82). The fenders and rear quarter panels were bulging out more than on the Mustang. I'm not sure if it had to be an RS, or at least an RS-style option (or maybe it was for all models but only some years).

Just picked up a '85 Capri w/ T's this past weekend! Had a few Stangs in the past. First 4 eye for me and I am liking it.... more to come....

I love my 84 RS , ive had it for almost five years. First and only car I drove to high school and Ill never sell it. I cant wait to get my capri front end back on once I get it fixed, otherwise it has a 85 GT front on it and a mustang hatch. I still have the bubble hatch though sitting in the garage, just never liked it to much, but I do miss the capri front end.

I was never a fan of the Capri.. but a local guy owns a black capri with a built 5.0... did that change my mind fast! They have grown on me big time, they are uniqure and have a lot of character. I especially like the rear end with the bubble hatch.. matched with wide tires and being lowered, one badass machine!

Sorry Hissin, cut the '83 RS up last year after I got pissed about guys trying to steal parts out of it and the fact that my '93 commuter car was running faster times than my twin turbo'd drag only Capri... Go figure, I just sold most of the Capri stuff to a guy with a dozen Mclarens.
