Took the engine back out. Took it back apart completely. Gapped rings slightly more. Took each rod and fitted them on the journal, torqued em. One rod just would move on the journal when torqued. So I found a cap that better fit it, and problem solve. Engine put back together, just waitin on a new clutch fork before i throw it back in. I cant wait to hear how she sounds. It takes about 65-70 ft lbs to turn the crank, sound right? A ton easier. Feels like the old 302.
Thanks for all the help.
