Remote breather tanks

im going to do something for a remote catch can with my new engine build. i have some hefty ass an fittings already welded into my valve covers. they are like -12.

i can't find any tanks online that aren't huge, like 18" height that use DUAL inlets. is there a certain site some of you use? i've been all over summit searching.. or do i just need to make one?

I have a similar set up. I have a 90* fitting in the rear of the Dr side fitting & a T fitting in the rear of the passenger side valve cover. I have a 5/8 heater hose between the two VC's & then from the T down to a homemade catch can mounted on the frame down low. I made the catch can out of an 8" piece of 2.5" exhaust pipe. I welded some sheet metal to each end. I welded a 3/4 ID tube to the top for a clamp on filter. then I took an old 7/16 deep well socket, cut it & welded it to the side of the catch can for the hose to attach to. Now all I need to do is buy a filter & paint it. I used an exhaust U bolt to bolt it to the frame. The whole thing only weighs about 2 lbs and is very cheap since I had all the scrap stuff laying around. hope that helps.

When cramped for room I make my own, you dont want to mount them low or they will naturally want to pull oil. I like to mount them on the rear of the passenger shock tower.

Stefs make a 7" tall one, pricey though....reason I made my own.

I dont have a line going from the catch can back to the intake so other than gravity draining oil to the can, I do understand how it would "pull" oil out. Rick would you explain further as I know you know more about this stuff than I do. I also didn't think it would be a good idea if my vent tube had a sort u bend to go back up to the catch can as oil would pool in the tube. I have the rear mount turbo so my vent tube would have dip under the intake plumbing to get to the rear of the shock tower.
