This is probably a really dumb question but I am getting ready to use a remote starter and have never used one before. Just wanted to make sure I am clear on how to use it. I am going to be breaking in a new cam and don't want to jack anything up! So on the starter solenoid, I unhook the "S" terminal and turn the key to "On", then hook up the two leads for the remote starter and pull the trigger. Once it fires will I need to hold the trigger or will the key being in the "On" postion take over?
Thanks and Merry Christmas all!
Adam
P.S.- Santa was VERY good to me! Got some new wheels and tires! 17x8 Torque Thrust II's with BFG's!! Will post pics soon!

The remote starter bypasses the start function to kick in the solenoid. It's just like turning the key to "Start". The key in the "ON" position will provide power to the coil so it will run once cranked over and it's getting fuel and spark.
