I am still working out electrical bugs on my 89 that was switched to a carb and had th computer removed. So to get the car running, i had the fuel pump and coil on relays that i triggered with a physical switch. Eventually I managed to get the keyed ignition switch to get 12 v to the solenoid terminal by jumping out the safety switches which allowed the use of the key to start the car (albeit still needing to flip on the physical switch for the pump and coil). Now i want to eliminate the physical switches for the coil and pump but i cant seem to find a wire that provide 12v on Run and during Start. I thought from studying diagrams (found on this forum, thanks!) that the red/light green wire from the ignition switch might provide constant 12v but thats not the case. Anyone know where i can get constant 12v during Run and Start? Thanks.
