Does anyone know if there is a company that makes an X or H pipe for LT headers that has a cats swap out pipe. I know that there are no inspections any longer, but I'd like to keep it legal and don't want the extra noise...

BBK, MAC both make long tube H-pipes with cats. There may be more, but I know these off the top of my head.

If wanting a pipe with flanges around the cats for removal, I think you will need an exhaust shop to do that for you (should be pretty cheap). Cut outs are an alternative for the track.

Good luck.

Bassani makes there X pipes with removable cats, you would have to buy the offroad tubes also though.. Mine came in three pieces, the X section and both catted sides.

Interesting..that is what I'm looking for, I guess I'd have to try and fit a pre-94 mid-pipe since they don't make a long tube header for 94-95

Aren't the LT's in and of themselves illegal "technically" in most states? My buddy has shortie's, a catted H, and 3 chamber flows on his 91, and his girlfriend got a ticket in it the other day for excessive noise. She said she was just cruising too. I don't see how they can do that crap, and let the Harley's buzz around blasting their straightpipes with no penalty.

Under the FL statues, a replacement headers must be of "equivalent function and design". Equivalent means "similar or identical," so unless there's case law that suggest different, I don't think it would be a problem with LT's here...
